About HATO

HATO practitioners can assist with all animal health problems using natural therapies. Natural therapists believe the body has the ability to repair itself, even from major illnesses such as cancer, when given the right conditions for healing. Natural therapies may assist in providing what the body needs to restore balance and heal itself. When the body is in balance it does not suffer from allergies, skin conditions, cancer, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid problems or other diseases as these are simply signs of imbalance in the body, whether it is a horse, dog, cat or other species of animal.

Non-veterinarian natural animal therapists in Australia are currently prohibited from examining or attending any animal for the purpose of diagnosing a condition. Therefore, it is important to receive a diagnosis from your veterinarian before seeking assistance from a natural health care practitioner. Ideally, for the benefit of your pet, your qualified natural animal therapist and your veterinarian should both be involved with your animals treatment. This way your pet benefits from a clear diagnosis from your veterinarian but you may seek treatment from a holistic animal therapist when conventional veterinary treatment is not working or is inappropriate for you.
